Registration

Beginning with the conference of October 2026, UURMaPA will offer only one three-day conference each year, and it will occur in the fall, in all likelihood, during October. Our conference will be available through Zoom, a teleconference program accessible to attendees via computer, cell phone, or landline. We inted to offer compelling programs, perhaps a keynote presenter, or a panel discussion addressing a topic of mutual interest to our membership. A workshop might be included, depending on the topic.

We aim to present two odysseys, one from a minister, and one from a partner. An important part of our conferences is the remembrance service, which allows us to memorialize our colleagues and partners who are no longer among us. We also enjoy connecting rooms, small gatherings where we encounter our friends and colleagues at a more personal level than is possible in larger sessions. We usually produce seven or more 90-minute sessions over three days, and that includes time to socialize and rub elbows with other famous Unitarian Universalists.

If you enjoy our conferences, and if providing a place for your friends and colleagues to come together interests you, you could help us plan and produce our conferences. Our work involves online research, writing, coordination between parties and venues, recording meetings, archival administration, coordination of presenters and speakers, leading training sessions, recruitment of volunteers, publicity, and various other administrative endeavors. 

In the months leading up to the conference, we have as many as nine weekday Zoom meetings and two post-mortems after the conference. Of course, a computer is critical, and a fast connection is nice. A modicum of computer savvy makes volunteer life easier.
