The Rev. Martha Scott Newman, 84, died August 14. 2007. She served congregations in Alton, IL; Clinton, IA; Ellisville, MO; and the Unitarian Society of Houlton, ME, which named her Minister Emerita. She is survived by two children, Amy Rouse of Skowhegan, and J Mark Newman of Surprise, Arizona; and two foster daughters, Kay Keaton of St. Charles, Missouri and Ruth Eltinge of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
